You are not required to have a recent hospitalization to have home care ordered for you by your physician. You may qualify for home health care if you experience any of the following conditions:
In addition, to receive covered services, a patient must be considered "homebound". Homebound means a person is not able to leave their home without the use of an assistive device such as a walker, crutches, a cane, or a wheelchair. A patient can leave their home for short durations to attend religious services, doctor appointments, etc. if they are of an infrequent nature. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (866) 865-9418. We will be glad to help you through the process.
What are your Financial Options?
Most home health care services will be covered by Medicare or private insurance companies if eligibility requirements are met. Once we receive the referral, we will verify your coverage with your insurance carrier. We will immediately notify you if there will be any out-of-pocket costs. However, the majority of insurances completely cover the cost of home health services. Because we are certified by Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross, we will accept the amount they are willing to pay for services.
